Overview
In July 2026, the Law Reform Commission participated in public hearings convened by House joint committees reviewing Liberia's mining and environmental legal framework. The hearings brought together government institutions, regulators, economic agencies and industry stakeholders to examine proposed reforms and the need to modernise the Mining and Minerals Law.
