About this event
House joint committees convened public hearings in July 2026 to examine mining-sector governance, Senate Engrossed Bill #5 and wider proposals to modernise Liberia's Mining and Minerals Law. The Law Reform Commission participated alongside sector ministries, regulators, economic institutions and industry stakeholders.
