New Petroleum Law of Liberia, 2002
The New Petroleum Law of Liberia was approved on 7 June 2002 and published by authority of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on 2 July 2002. It established the petroleum legal framework administered through NOCAL and was later expressly repealed and replaced by the New Petroleum (Exploration and Production) Reform Law of Liberia, 2014, approved in 2016. The original 49-page handbill is preserved in the Commission CMS.
