Bureau of Maritime Affairs Autonomous Agency Act, 1989
Approved on 20 June 1989, this Act removed the Bureau of Maritime Affairs from the Ministry of Transport and made it an autonomous agency within the Executive Branch. The Liberia Maritime Authority Act of 2010 expressly repealed this 1989 Act in its entirety and replaced the Bureau with the Liberia Maritime Authority.
